Amanda Shepherd
I am a Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapist, Death Doula and Artist who strives to give each client relationship, therapeutic situation, and project my full attention without wavering or becoming distracted. I want to ensure that you feel cared for without fear of judgment. In addition to massage and CranioSacral therapy sessions, I accept commissions for remembrance artwork, including contemporary memorial hairwork, hand-dipped and hand-painted beeswax candles, and repurposed sentimental textiles. The belief that unifies all of these services is that our awareness of death inspires our passion for life. Sharing this perspective with others is the motivating force behind my work. I graduated from Fortis Institute's massage therapy program in 2023 after working for more than a decade as an art director and graphic designer. My CranioSacral Therapy training is with the Upledger Institute, and I have completed focused training in geriatric massage. My death doula training began in 2018 and I am a current hospice volunteer.
